Enalapril/hydrochlorothiazide

Enalapril/hydrochlorothiazide, sold under the brand name Vaseretic among others, is a combination drug used for the treatment of hypertension.[2] It contains enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide.[2] It is taken by mouth.[2]

Enalapril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor and hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic.

The most frequent side effects are dizziness, headache, fatigue, and cough.[2]

History

Enalapril/hydrochlorothiazide was approved for use in the United States in October 1986.[3]
