Pierluca Zizzi
Pierluca Zizzi is an Italian board game designer responsible for the creation of critically acclaimed games such as Asgard, Hyperborea, Signorie and Simurgh.
Born in 1970 in Turin, Pierluca began his working career as an architect. It's not long however before he realizes that his passion for board games should become his full-time job.[1]

Although Pierluca Zizzi has designed 21 games, his most popular game remains Hyperborea, published in 2014 by Asmodée Éditions. The game has received positive reviews, and currently hold a score of 7.3 out of 10 on Board Game Geek database. Popular outlets that have reviewed the game are Opinionated Gamers,[5] Nonsensical Gamers,[6] Meepletown,[7] Play Board Games[8] and Dice Tower.[9] Other main games created by Pierluca Zizzi are Lamborghini: The Official Race Game,[10][11] a game based on the official license of Lamborghini sport cars, the strategy game based on worker placement mechanics Signorie[12] and Simurgh, the fantasy game published on kickstarter by Heidelberger Spieleverlag and NSKN Games.[13]
Other projects
Pierluca Zizzi has an interest for esoteric things, and has produced and released his own version of Zener Cards and other divination tools such as Infinity Tarot,[14] Egyptian Oracle Cards, 2012: Tarot of Ascension[15] and Universal Transparent Tarot.
